Hanoi March Connecting 2018 is being held by Asia Art Link and the Hanoi University of Industrial Fine Arts, and aims to offer an opportunity for lecturers and students of art schools in Vietnam, as well as international artists, to meet and exchange experiences, according to painter Trinh Tuan, a member of the organising board.

The event also serves as a rendezvous for 62 Vietnamese artists and 58 international artists. “Compared with the previous two editions, this year’s event is a breakthrough in the size and number of artists who have been invited to attend,” said Tuan.

At the opening ceremony on March 26, two fashion collections by designer Le Ha and painter Thu Tran will be introduced.

“Especially, participants at the workshop held from Mar 27-29 are able to create their own pieces of art on the spot, before sharing them with co-artists and visitors,” he said.
